Structured Cabling Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Design end-to-end structured cabling for data center projects.
• Create fiber/copper infrastructure for networking, compute, storage, and security.
• Develop connectivity designs for MDFs/IDFs and data halls.
• Produce diagrams, rack elevations, patching diagrams, and schedules.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and review vendor submittals.
• Support testing, commissioning, and field inspections as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in structured cabling, data center infrastructure, or related field.
• Hands-on design experience in mission-critical environments.
• Expertise in fiber (single-mode and multimode) and high-density connectivity.
• Strong knowledge of TIA, BICSI, IEEE, NEC/NFPA, ISO/IEC standards.
• Ability to produce technical drawings, schematics, and design documentation.
• Remote work readiness with coordination across teams.
