πŸ“‹ Description

  • Develop end-to-end structured cabling designs for new-build, expansion, retrofit, and capacity-add
  • Design fiber-optic and copper cabling infrastructure supporting networking, compute, storage
  • Develop connectivity designs for MDFs, IDFs, MMRs, network rooms, meet-me rooms, and data halls.
  • Create fiber backbone, horizontal cabling, interconnect, cross-connect, and equipment connectivity
  • Produce single-line diagrams, cabling schematics, rack elevations, patching diagrams, pathway
  • Determine appropriate fiber counts, cable and connector types, patch-panel requirements

🎯 Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in structured cabling, telecommunications, physical network infrastructure
  • Strong hands-on design experience within mission-critical or data center environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in fiber-optic infrastructure, including both single-mode and multimode
  • Solid understanding of structured cabling architecture, high-density connectivity, patching
  • Experience developing technical drawings, cabling schematics, rack elevations, connectivity
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and practices, including TIA, BICSI, IEEE, NEC/NFPA
