Structured Cabling Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop end-to-end structured cabling designs for data center projects
• Design fiber-optic and copper cabling infrastructure
• Create connectivity designs for MDFs, IDFs, and data halls
• Produce BOMs, cable schedules, rack elevations, and diagrams
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines and review docs
• Support testing, commissioning, and site surveys as needed

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in structured cabling or data center infra
• Hands-on design in mission-critical environments
• Fiber-optic expertise (single-mode & multimode)
• Knowledge of TIA, BICSI, IEEE, NEC/NFPA, ISO/IEC
• Experience with cabling docs, schematics, and as-builts
• Strong team coordination and remote-work capability
