Substation Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead and manage high-voltage substation design projects
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams through project execution
• Develop and review engineering documents (one-line diagrams, plans, specs)
• Perform analyses: ground grid, relay coordination, transformer sizing, load flow, short-circuit
• Manage schedules and budgets; implement corrective actions as needed
• Serve as primary technical contact for clients and vendors

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (power systems preferred)
• Minimum 5 years in high-voltage substation design for 230 kV and above
• Advanced HV equipment knowledge
• Strong AC/DC fundamentals and three-phase power
• Experience with substation design software and power system analysis
• Ability to interpret drawings and specs; knowledge of NEC/NESC/NEMA/IEEE/ANSI
