Summer 2027 AI/ML Engineering Intern

📋 Description

• 12-week Summer 2027 internship (May to August).
• On-site at Washington DC five days a week with housing/relocation for co-ops outside DC metro.
• Work on Platform Integration & AI/Data squad: ML/AI features inside NOS, including LLM-driven
• Ship models and features to production alongside full-time engineers and nuclear-domain experts.

🎯 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a BS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics
• Available for full six-month term?(note: program is 12 weeks May-Aug)
• Strong Python fundamentals; hands-on exposure to ML/LLM tooling (PyTorch, Hugging Face, or similar).
• Track record of shipping working software or ML projects (course, personal, or prior internship).
• Willing to work on-site in Washington DC for the full term; U.S. Person status not explicitly
• Hands-on experience with LLMs/agents, data pipelines, and cloud platforms (Foundry, AWS/Foundry
