Supplier Quality Inspector

📋 Description

• Oversee inspection and supplier quality development for castings, forgings, patterns, machined and
• Manage supplier inspections, NCRs, CAPA, and supplier audits to ensure conformance to specs.
• Coordinate NDT/NDE activities (VT, MT, PT, UT, RT, PMI, hardness testing) and third-party
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Project Management, and Quality teams to
• Ensure compliance with drawings, GD&T, tolerances, material specs, standards, and ISO 9001:2015
• Travel ~70% to supplier locations for inspections and development activities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in Quality Assurance/Control, Supplier Quality, or Inspection in heavy-engineering
• Hands-on inspection experience with castings, forgings, machined/fabricated components.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, GD&T, dimensional and surface-finish requirements, and
• Experience reviewing MTCs, inspection/NDT reports, and supplier documentation.
• Knowledge of API, ASME, ASTM, ISO standards and ISO 9001:2015; familiarity with ASME Sections II
