Systems Engineer - Global Resource Management (Data Residency)

📋 Description

• Regional API routing: Build per-account API hostname and routing to regional endpoints.
• Dashboard integration: Route API calls through regional endpoints with clear indicators.
• Account creation & provisioning: Capture country region and provision regional storage.
• Internal tooling: Build provisioning, billing shims, and dashboards for admins.
• Cross-team integration: Work with regional storage, key mgmt, and logging teams.
• Migration & self-service: Design path from MVP provisioning to dashboard self-service.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems at scale.
• Proficiency in Go; backend services and core platform use Go.
• Comfort with TypeScript; dashboard and control plane use TS.
• REST API: Experience designing and building REST APIs.
• Distributed systems: Understand data locality, replication and latency tradeoffs.
• Cross-team collaboration: Able to navigate ambiguity and align with engineers.
