Systems Programmer - Mainframe Networking

📋 Description

• Design, install, maintain IBM z/OS mainframe networking infra.
• Administer VTAM, TCP/IP, FTP, SFTP, TLS/AT-TLS, DNS, OSA-Express.
• Lead Connect (NDM) software maintenance and upgrades.
• Provide escalation for complex mainframe networking issues (CICS, DB2, MQ, JES2).
• Perform advanced troubleshooting using IPCS and packet tracing.
• Monitor performance, plan capacity, tune for SLAs.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Expert in IBM z/OS Communication Server components listed above.
• Strong experience with Connect (NDM), SMP/E, z/OSMF for install/config.
• Fluency in JCL, REXX, CLIST and related scripting/automation.
• Experience troubleshooting in enterprise mainframe environments.
• Knowledge of MQ on z/OS, CICS, DB2; preferred.
