📋 Description

Lead indirect tax compliance and reporting for US and international ops
Manage US sales/use, property, telecom taxes and other non-income tax returns
Oversee GST/VAT compliance and coordination with tax accounting
Drive process improvements and automation in tax workflows
Collaborate with Finance, IT, and external providers
Support audits and taxability analyses as Nextiva expands globally

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or related field
5-7 years indirect tax experience with emphasis on sales/use, property, telecom
Experience international VAT/GST compliance
Big 4 or in-house indirect tax background preferred (SaaS/telecom)
Strong Excel, ERP (NetSuite/Oracle/SAP) and tax software (Vertex/Avalara)
Ability to translate complex tax matters into clear business guidance
