Tech Lead Engineer (Orchestration)

📋 Description

• Lead the team technically and as a people manager, mentoring engineers and prioritizing work.
• Design key services of our distributed system.
• Build and improve functionalities and existing services.
• Make architectural decisions and set technical direction.
• Balance routing migration, feature delivery, and tech debt reduction.
• Hands-on leadership; ~50-60% time coding; leads stay close to the product.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience
• Strong experience with distributed systems
• Solid PostgreSQL experience
• Experience with message brokers (Kafka / RabbitMQ)
• Backend skills in a statically typed language (Java/Kotlin/TypeScript/etc.)
• Understanding of high-load system design
• People-management experience (~1.5–2 years ideal; or strong Senior ready to grow)
• Proactive ownership mindset and ability to explain complex ideas simply
• Nice to have: Go, AWS SQS, Buf, Protobuf, Node.js
• Nice to have: Fintech / payments experience
• Nice to have: No-code / low-code automation experience
