📋 Description

• Partner with engineering during R&D to source components, qualify vendors, and get quotes and
• Build supplier relationships in key categories and adapt to evolving needs.
• Evaluate quotes, lead times, and vendor capabilities to make sound decisions with incomplete data.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and leadership to gather approvals and remove roadblocks.
• Help stand up processes, tools, and vendor scorecards for a growing supply chain.
• Prepare designs for production during NPI and transition to production-grade suppliers.

• Solid foundation in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and hardware manufacturing.
• Ability to reason from first principles, learn new commodities quickly, and identify issues early.
• Comfort with ambiguity and working in early-stage supply chain environments.
• Direct, clear communication with engineers, suppliers, and leadership.
• Exposure to hardware supply chain concepts (precision machining, gears, EMS/PCBA, electrical
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
