Technical Engineer

📋 Description

• Provide hands-on network and telecommunications engineering support at FEMA Headquarters across
• Combine Cisco routing and switching expertise with continuity-communications support for
• Assist with system and network architecture, requirements, design, configuration, change control
• Configure, test, troubleshoot, optimize, and document Cisco routers, switches, servers, and network
• Prepare and review engineering diagrams, bills of material, implementation/test plans, change
• Research and evaluate emerging voice/data/video/RF hardware and software technologies; support

🎯 Requirements

• Active final Top Secret clearance with current SCI eligibility; willingness to undergo DHS
• Current CCNA certification; three to five years of hands-on network/telecom/SI/RF/SATCOM
• Hands-on experience configuring/troubleshooting routers, switches, servers, network services, and
• Experience producing/or maintaining technical configurations, diagrams, procedures, and test
• Ability to work full-time at FEMA Headquarters and travel for multi-day field assignments.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to comply with security requirements.
