Technical Services Engineer

📋 Description

• Hybrid role based in Dublin with in-office schedule
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering to advocate for customers
• Troubleshoot complex MongoDB workloads across Core, drivers, Atlas, and cloud platforms
• Lead investigations from diagnosis to resolution with clear guidance
• Build tools, documentation, and training; mentor peers
• Support customers with architecture, performance, recovery, and security challenges

🎯 Requirements

• 5–6 years in technical support, systems engineering, DBA, SRE, or related field
• Experience running complex, production databases
• Strong Linux and systems engineering skills: performance, memory, I/O, storage, networking
• Understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS
• Ability to read code and write scripts in Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, C++, or Ruby
• Experience analyzing issues across application, database, OS, storage, and infra layers
