Technical Support Officer (Domestic/Textile)

📋 Description

• Advisory role on non-food compliance within the Advisory Team.
• Provide guidance and reviews to maintain compliance standards.
• Engage with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to meet regulatory needs.
• Develop and update technical sign-off checklists and processes.
• Train and onboard junior advisors and technologists.
• Ensure SGS procedures align with current legislation and guidelines.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Technical background and understanding of test methods.
• Appreciation of consumer protection legislation.
• Preferred: regulatory affairs/QMS postgraduate qual and relevant certifications.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to work independently.
• Experience with regulatory software or digital compliance tools is a plus.
