Work with engineers, technologists and trades people to help clients succeed in oil/gas infra
Interpret regulatory, codes and customer specs for fabrication, welding, materials.
Monitor welding parameters; write PQRs and WPSs under Welding Services Supervisor.
Prepare in-house work orders; communicate testing requirements; maintain sample traceability.
Interpret laboratory test results under supervision.
Conduct welder qualification testing under supervision.

🎯 Requirements

Post-secondary education in Welding Engineering, Welding Eng Tech or Manufacturing Eng Tech
Welding Examiner Certificate of Competency issued by ABSA.
CSA W178.2 Level 2 Welding Inspector Certificate of Compliance.
Eligible to register for T.T., C.E.T., or E.I.T. status.
