Test Technician — General Safety (Product Safety & NRTL Certification)

📋 Description

• Perform product safety evaluations against standards such as UL 62368-1, UL 60730-1, IEC 61010-1
• Complete construction, electrical, and mechanical safety testing including dielectric withstand and
• Set up and operate standard test equipment; use hand tools to build fixtures and prepare test
• Obtain and record test data; perform basic analysis of test data and simple calculations.
• Author Work Instructions for complex test setups and author/certify TRFs and CB Scheme forms.
• Author compliance correspondence, including position letters and technical justifications when

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1–4 years hands-on product safety testing or related field.
• Comfort with lab instrumentation: dielectric testers, ground bond testers, thermocouples/data
• Valid unrestricted driver's license and safe driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 10–15% as needed.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and technical writing skills; customer-focused.
