📋 Description

• Supervise students in groups and individually; monitor behavior.
• Counsel students on personal, social, behavioral, or academic issues.
• Lead student-led IEP transition meetings using assistive tech.
• Balance postsecondary goals with parental expectations using stepping-stone plans.
• Conduct IDEA-compliant transition assessments and track progress.
• Build ties with community sites and local employers for opportunities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Background in education or social work preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IDEA transition mandates.
• Experience coaching students in jobs and transitions.
• Systems mindset: leverage community networks.
• Understanding behavioral needs (ASD, ADHD).
• Professional communication and decision-making skills.
