📋 Description

• Provide remote or face-to-face coaching to Early Learning Programs (ELPs).
• Guide and support ELPs to attain or maintain Texas Rising Star certification.
• Assist programs in improving practice and achieving higher quality levels.
• Deliver ongoing professional development and help access resources and materials.
• Serve as mentor within the Child Care Services Program for the 11-county region.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, or related field.
• One year of full-time early childhood classroom experience.
• Experience in social services related to parents, children, and providers in child care.
• Willing to obtain Texas Rising Star Mentor certification.
• Knowledge of child care licensing standards and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Strong written communication and ability to maintain records.
