US Congressional Lead, Global Affairs

📋 Description

• Lead OpenAI’s engagement with the U.S. Congress, managing relationships with House and Senate
• Support U.S. Global Affairs in meetings, briefings, hearings, and other engagements with Congress.
• Coordinate with civil society and industry partners in congressional engagement aligned with
• Prepare leaders for engagements with government officials and represent OpenAI in private/public
• Travel may be required; relocation assistance offered.

🎯 Requirements

• Capitol Hill experience; track record with private sector and civil society relationships.
• Understanding of AI-related legislative and regulatory issues and processes.
• 8+ years of demonstrated experience with Republicans in the U.S. federal government, particularly
• Strong knowledge of U.S. government institutions, processes, and AI policy debates.
• Extensive technology policy experience; familiarity with Commerce/Judiciary/Appropriations
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to convey technical/policy
