V&V Engineer, Mechanical

📋 Description

• V&V Execution and Quality Assurance
• Characterize the vehicle and derive mechanical requirements, decomposing to module level with
• Own the mechanical DVP&R - plan and execute functional and performance testing; build/maintain
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical functionality and performance issues; lead root cause analysis
• Cross-functional collaboration with design, systems, quality and software teams
• Present test results and recommendations to design teams and program leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in a Mechanical V&V role, preferably automotive or heavy vehicle
• Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering
• Understand automotive DV/PV process; PPAP and APQP experience
• Experience with Automotive OEMs, Tier 1 & 2 suppliers
• Knowledge of international environmental/safety standards (e.g., ASTM B117, SAE J1455, MIL-STD-810)
• Ability to adapt V&V processes to support various OEMs
