Vectra Detection Engineer

📋 Description

• Support Vectra's Attack Signal Production Group for networks, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Implement and maintain threat detection architecture and network security signatures (e.g.
• Analyze network traffic to identify threat patterns and support AI-driven detection efforts.
• Collaborate with data scientists and researchers to improve detection accuracy.
• Contribute to threat hunting and incident response activities when required.
• Provide technical leadership in a federal Presales engineering context.

🎯 Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Strong background in network traffic analysis and threat detection
• Hands-on experience with Suricata or similar tools
• Knowledge of offensive security concepts (attack simulation)
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and attacker behaviors (lateral movement, C2)
• Collaboration skills with data scientists and researchers
