VP of Finance (Z)

📋 Description

• Oversee accounting for GP and LP entities, consolidations under ASC 810; manage capital calls
• Prepare monthly financial statements, partner capital statements, and investor reports; coordinate
• Oversee job costing, construction draws, and reconciliation of development budgets, including WIP
• Own commitment accounting for long-term construction contracts; review/approve monthly contractor
• Establish change order, retainage, and lien waiver controls; manage closeout release procedures.
• Manage AP, AR, payroll, cash flow forecasting, and the general ledger; oversee management fee

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred; CPA/CA a plus.
• 5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience in private equity, real estate development, or
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, incl. ASC 810, 323, 360, 970, 842; fund accounting experience.
• Experience with construction accounting, cost segregation, and investment accounting.
• Hands-on with multi-entity structures, joint ventures, waterfalls, and investor allocations.
• Demonstrated FP&A leadership including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for
