Weld Support Technician

📋 Description

• Perform welding support tasks at Texas Test Site: plasma programming/operating, band saw, chop saw
• Analyze engineering drawings for dimensions and tolerances of cut parts.
• Obtain and maintain licenses, operator permits, or certifications as required.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce turnaround times and streamline processes.
• Collaborate with leaders to complete assignments, solve problems, and review issues for improvement.
• Perform other related duties to ensure efficient operations.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience with hand tools, band saws, or torch cutting in manufacturing/industrial
• Preferred: 1+ years plasma table programming/operating; ability to use measuring instruments
• Ability to work in tight spaces, stand up to 8 hours, lift up to 45 lbs, and work at heights with
• Willingness to travel nationally up to ~4 weeks and work extended hours/weekends as needed.
• ITAR considerations and compliance requirements.
