Welder - 2nd Shift

📋 Description

• Welders in McGregor, TX, build structural and/or fluid systems for testing campaigns at SpaceX's
• Work with an elite team to rapidly assemble large components for vehicle/component testing.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and efficiency standards in a high-paced environment.
• Communicate with management, engineering, and planners to improve build efficiency.
• Interpret drawings and perform fabrication math to derive dimensions and layouts.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and ensure completeness of work orders.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 2+ years of welding experience in two of the following processes: FCAW, SMAW, GTAW, or GMAW.
• Ability to read drawings and perform welding/fitting operations for various materials (mild carbon
