📋 Description

  • Lead welding engineering for pressure vessels and heavy fabrication.
  • Develop, qualify, and maintain WPS, PQR, and SWP; ensure compliance with ASME, API, PED.
  • Support new product development with welding techniques and qualification steps.
  • Coordinate QA/QC activities; review weld quality per codes and customer requirements.
  • Lead root cause analysis and CAPA for welding defects.
  • Mentor welding personnel and promote safety and continuous improvement.

🎯 Requirements

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of welding materials, processes, and international codes.
  • Experience with SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW welding processes.
  • Familiarity with LPE, MPE, UT, RT NDT coordination; ASME Sections I/II/VIII, API, PED experience.
  • Experience in heavy fabrication, pressure vessels, or process equipment manufacturing.
  • Team leadership experience; ability to train welders and manage qualification programs.
  • Educational background in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or Welding Engineering.
