Welding Inspector - Cleveland - 1 month contract

📋 Description

• Perform dimensional inspections and visual checks on metal parts.
• Marking verifications as per drawings and test sheets provided by client.
• Document results and prepare detailed inspection reports.
• Record inspection results and non-conformities; assist in corrective actions.
• Communicate with welders, engineers, and other personnel.

🎯 Requirements

• AWS CWI or API 510 (one of the following).
• 5-10 years in industrial welding inspections.
• 5 years QA/vendor surveillance/shop inspections.
• Experience with oil & gas, power, construction, or manufacturing.
• Experience witnessing NDE (UT, PT, MT, RT) and verifying test reports.

🎁 Benefits

• Contract: sub-contractor agreement.
• Work schedule: Mon-Fri, up to 10 hrs/day.
• Pay rate: $45/hr to $50/hr; per diems to be discussed.
