Welding Inspector - Cleveland - Short Term Contract

📋 Description

• Perform dimensional inspections and visual verifications on metal parts
• Use simple equipment (tape measures, calipers, gauges) provided by client
• Verify parts against drawings; measure and document results
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and record non-conformities
• Investigate non-conformities and aid in corrective actions
• Communicate with welders, engineers, and other personnel

🎯 Requirements

• At least one of: AWS CWI or API 510
• 5-10 years in industrial welding-related inspection
• 5 years in QA/vendor surveillance/shop inspections
• Experience inspecting welds on pipelines, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, etc.; witnessed NDE

🎁 Benefits

• Contract type: subcontractor agreement
• Work schedule: 5 days/week, up to 10 hrs/day (Mon-Fri)
• Pay: $45/hr to $50/hr
• Per diems: to be discussed
