Welding Inspector - Cleveland - Short Term Contract

📋 Description

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections on metal parts
• Record measurements and verify against drawings
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and document non-conformities
• Communicate findings with welders, engineers, and staff
• Optional paperwork and recordkeeping tasks
• One month contract with potential extension

🎯 Requirements

• AWS CWI or API 510 (one of these) required
• 5–10 years welding inspection experience
• 5 years QA/vendor surveillance/shop inspection
• Experience in oil & gas, power, utility, or manufacturing
• Inspect welds on pipelines, pressure vessels, etc.
• Experience with NDE tests (UT, PT, MT, RT) and reports
