Welding Inspectors - Short Term Contract - Fort McMurray

📋 Description

• Inspect, test, and evaluate weld processes, welding, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and related
• Material verification and dimensional checks supervision.
• Documentation collection and verification against ITP; review WPS/PQR; assess quality; issue
• Inspect welds, review welding procedures, and perform visual and dimensional inspections.
• Examine completed welds for size, quality, and conformance; witness NDT and verify results.
• Witness and verify PWHT and pressure testing when applicable.

🎯 Requirements

• CWB Level 2 (minimum).
• 5–10 years of industrial welding-related inspection experience; 5 years in
• Experience inspecting welds on pipelines, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, etc.; witnessed NDE
• Industrial experience in Oil & Gas / Power & Utility / Construction / Manufacturing, etc.
• Excellent communication with welders, engineers, and other personnel.
• Contract type: sub-contractor; typical duties during short-term assignments.
