Looking to hire a Welding Technician at DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations, Port of Alexandria Facility.
Assist FBS Welders in cutting, fitting, and welding aluminum bus pipe and cable jumpers.
Support production process in Project Services Center.
Read blueprints and move machinery/equipment, including cranes, to manipulate pipe/jumpers.
Perform skilled tasks with speed and accuracy to maintain steady productivity.
Adhere to safety practices and participate in safety meetings as required.

🎯 Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Read measuring devices (tape measure, rules, squares) and perform simple shop math.
Experience using simple hand tools (wrenches, hammer, screwdriver).
Demonstrate safe work practices and maintain a clean work area.
Highly motivated with a desire to learn.
