Workshop Manager

📋 Description

• Lead day-to-day operation of Consett workshop
• Supervise and mentor workshop team
• Ensure health & safety compliance
• Hands-on machining activities: machining, milling, turning
• Coordinate work through MRF system
• Maintain high standards and client service

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in workshop/mfg/engineering or materials testing
• Previous supervisory/foreman experience
• Hands-on machining knowledge with workshop equipment
• Ability to read drawings and work instructions
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience with workshop planning and continuous improvement (Desirable)
