The Role
As a Systems Administrator, you will be a part of the Information Technology team working to administer and make architectural decisions with Bloomerang’s core technology apps (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, 1Password, KnowBe4, NinjaOne, Mosyle, etc). You’ll utilize excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly and concisely. As a Systems Administrator, you’ll possess a strong sense of attention to detail in managing system configurations, documentation, and change management processes. This position requires a commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
What You Will Do
- Install, configure, test, troubleshoot, perform ongoing maintenance and enhancement of information technology and information systems.
- Facilitate the delivery of projects and solutions in a collaborative team environment across business units.
- Be an escalation point for our Desktop Support Engineers.
- Make applications talk to each other via APIs & Workflow tools
What You Need to Succeed
- Experience with Cloud Infrastructure
- Given the nature of SaaS companies relying heavily on cloud-based technologies, experience with cloud infrastructure is essential. This includes expertise in managing and optimizing cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (GCP). Experience preferably with AWS.
- Automation and Scripting Skills
- Automation plays a significant role in streamlining operations, improving efficiency, and reducing human error in IT administration. Therefore, strong scripting skills, particularly in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell, are crucial.
- Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting Abilities
- Systems administrators often encounter complex technical issues that require critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot effectively under pressure. A strong track record of diagnosing and resolving issues is essential.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is: $81,000 - $109,500. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.
Location
This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
