The Chief of Staff (CoS) position at EasyLlama goes beyond traditional support roles. As the CEO's "superhero," your primary focus will be enhancing the CEO's effectiveness and promoting operational excellence. This pivotal role involves streamlining operations to facilitate the organization's growth and success. You will take charge of managing project plans, ensuring the seamless alignment of our team, and actively contributing to the achievement of strategic objectives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Strategic and Operational Support:

    • Assist the CEO in implementing strategic initiatives by managing day-to-day operations.
    • Centralize and enhance visibility into project plans, milestones, and dependencies, driving efficiency and transparency.
    • Create reports, analyze data, and provide insights to inform decision-making.
    • Scale operations by helping expand teams, infrastructure, and processes to accommodate increased demand and market expansion.
  • CEO Prioritization and Accountability:

    • Ensure the CEO prioritizes critical tasks for the company.
    • Complete priority items for the CEO at a high level of quality.
    • Keep the CEO and team accountable for commitments and results.
    • Act as a trusted ambassador, maintaining CEO's accessibility, openness to ideas, and proposals.
  • Project Management:

    • Oversee and manage key projects and initiatives on behalf of the CEO.
    • Help optimize internal processes to enhance efficiency and productivity by streamlining workflows, implementing new technologies, and identifying areas for improvement in various departments.
    • Lead annual planning cycles and actively contribute to monthly and quarterly business reviews to drive operational excellence.
    • Maintain and evolve the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) framework, fostering interconnectedness with various functions to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    • Work cross-functionally with different departments and their leaders to address challenges and roadblocks to achieve objectives by meeting timelines.
  • Communication and Coordination:

    • Act as a stunt double, substituting for the CEO in meetings or critical situations.
    • Present complex strategic plans to stakeholders in a simplified narrative format to facilitate clear communication and understanding.
    • Assist the CEO in preparing for internal and external meetings, including agenda setting and collecting relevant information.
  • Team Management, Recruitment, and Budget Control:

    • Collaborate with HR and team leads to ensure recruitment aligns with business objectives.
    • Assist in forecasting and controlling budgets related to recruitment and people operations.

Who You Are:

  • You have accumulated over 5 years of experience in a Chief of Staff or Operations role within a dynamic environment.
  • You possess strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • You have proven experience with OKR frameworks and strategies for aligning goals.
  • Your communication and presentation abilities are exceptional.
  • You excel in streamlining processes and driving consistency in execution.
  • You are a strategic thinker with the capability to translate long-term goals into actionable plans.

How We'll Take Care of You: 

  • $150,000 to $165,000 base salary + bonus
