iHerb is continuing to expand its global cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure. The DevOps engineer role will be leading the implementation of systems like AWS, Kubernetes, Ansible and Flux. There are many new exciting projects that you will also work on such as automation and ensuring uptime across systems. You will have the opportunity to be exposed to many new technologies and global teams and be able to make an immediate impact as a core member.
In this role you will:
- Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
- Oversee AWS, GCP and VMWare environments
- Administer Linux and Windows servers
- Work directly with development teams on troubleshooting and deployment
- Create automated pipelines for infrastructure creation
- Help architect new services and environments
In order to be successful you must have the following to be considered:
- At least 5 plus years of experience in system administration or DevOps
- Writing scripts (Bash, Powershell, Python, Go…)
- Experience administrating Linux and Windows servers
- Have deployed infrastructure on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure…)
- Infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Flux…)
- Build and deployment pipelines (Jenkins, BitBucket, GitLab, Spinnaker…)
- Network troubleshooting fundamentals (traceroutes, DNS...)
Bonus:
- Worked with VMWare/VSphere
- Experience working with Kubernetes

The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work.
