About the role

Zscaler is looking for a seasoned Technical Program Manager (TPM) to help drive operational excellence across our security and governance programs. In this role you will help define, refine and lead security initiatives focused on developing, protecting and maintaining our customers' trust. The TPM will be leading the effort to draw data, insights, metrics and KPIs to raise awareness and drive progress.

The team charter includes vulnerability management, security assurance and governance over federal and commercial programs. 

The team is chartered to scale security controls across our products and infrastructure. The scope of work includes but not limited to - security design reviews, threat modeling, code analysis, secure software supply chain, hardened public cloud infrastructure, and offensive security.

What you will do

  • Partner with peers, security org, engineering and operations to drive depth and breadth across our secure SDLC agenda.
  • Work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to drive execution of strategic initiatives, proactively identifying risks and obstacles along with mitigation plans.
  • Partner with product and engineering organizations to align on and ensure program scope, priorities, and Definition of Done / Business Outcomes are clear and achieved.
  • Translate business outcomes into execution strategy, and successfully implement the strategy through strong collaboration and agile practices.
  • Identify stakeholders, develop positive relationships, and work with multiple delivery teams to take ownership and accountability of technical project planning and delivery.
  • Apply internal tools and an agile approach to cultivate collaboration that fosters autonomy, visibility, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Leverage data to help us recognize our gaps, identify solutions, and demonstrate measurable progress.
  • Develop necessary documentation / artifacts to provide visibility and accountability in the execution process.

 

Experience / Skills Required

  • 5+ years of technical program management experience in driving large information security programs in an enterprise technology organization.
  • Strong organizational skills in driving execution applying agile methodologies using JIRA, Asana, SmartSheet, or similar tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, understanding of the needs of all stakeholders, and a track record of delivering projects.
  • Experience in working in a complex, rapid growth environment, working cross-functionally with teams delivering enterprise software.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range

$165,750

$185,000 USD
