About This Role:
We are looking for ourfirst marketing hire,a hands-on leader that will develop our company's storytelling, content and digital marketing strategies, product marketing, marketing health metrics, and much more. This person must be nimble in an early-stage, high-growth environment.
As Director of Marketing you will:
Own our company’s story telling.This means must have the ability to communicate Kira’s vision to diverse audiences, and to span messaging from high-level value propositions to feature-level product differentiation.
Be responsible for establishing and scaling our full end-to-end digital marketing strategy, including paid, organic, SEO, SEM, affiliate marketing, email and SMS.
Oversee performance tracking and calibration daily to provide decision-making around budget allocations and forecasts.
Develop market enablement collateral for prospect domestic and international partners and clients, including but not limited to pitches, printed material, email campaigns, etc.
Plan and implement marketing campaigns in partnership with product and sales teams to drive high-quality leads that translate into effective engagement of clients and partners.
Your Experience and Skills include:
6+ years of experience leading marketing for high-growth EdTech or enterprise SaaS companies with domestic and/or international market exposure.
Experienced and results-oriented in building go-to-market strategies.
Expertise in the fundamentals of product marketing and the sales process.
Ability to recognize future opportunities, assess future market factors, and define business strategies and/or models to leverage market opportunities.
Impeccable leadership skills. You have a stellar ability to coach, rally and grow other people. You can also deliver thoughtful feedback to others as needed, as well as receive and grow from feedback
Ability to confidently and thoughtfully influence across the organization, including with leadership
Strong verbal and written communication skills; can patiently, professionally and effectively communicate with others. You understand how important the details in communication are too, like body language and vocal tonality. This communication prowess extends into your marketing skills, including with the ability to create or edit content at an expert level.

Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary ($160,000 - $190,000) and equity package in a well-funded, high growth company. Compensation is based on a number of relevant factors such as location, professional experience and related skill sets.
