📋 Description

• Plan, develop, and deliver rigorous AP English Language and Composition instruction aligned with
• Develop students’ ability to analyze complex nonfiction texts, evaluate rhetorical choices
• Explicitly teach and reinforce the skills required for success on the AP English Language exam
• Maintain high expectations for the quality, complexity, and independence of student thinking
• Regularly assess and track student performance using classroom assessments and other student data
• Provide frequent, timely, and actionable feedback on student writing, including opportunities for

🎯 Requirements

• Valid Indiana teaching license or in the process of applying for reciprocity with a valid
• Bachelor’s degree in English or related field (required).
• Experience teaching AP English courses (preferred).
• Proven success helping students succeed academically, especially in underserved communities
• Strong knowledge of AP English curriculum and College Board standards (preferred).
• Commitment to the KIPP mission and community (required).
