📋 Description

• The Cybersecurity Intern will help protect AbbVie's systems, data, and applications across one of
• Perform initial triage of security events, escalate threats, maintain logs and incident records
• Process access requests and account provisioning, run access reviews/audits, maintain
• Support secure code review/testing and assist with application vulnerability assessments.
• 11-week onsite internship with placements primarily in Lake County, IL and other AbbVie/Allergan

🎯 Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in CS, Computer Engineering, AI, or related with cyber security focus
• Graduation date between December 2027 – June 2028; must stay enrolled the following semester and
• Preferred: Python scripting and automation tooling (SOAR, Ansible); networking basics
• Ability to read/assess code (JavaScript/Java/C#) and write securely; interest in secure API design.
• Foundational cloud security knowledge across AWS/Azure/GCP and cloud-native tooling.
• Previous internship/related experience; strong analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and
