3P Revenue Accounting & Reporting

📋 Description

• Lead the revenue close for cloud service provider Marketplace within a listed company timeline.
• Prepare and review revenue, revenue-share, reserve journal entries, accruals and true-ups including
• Own balance sheet reconciliations, reserves, and the usage-to-invoice-to-cash bridge.
• Perform monthly and quarterly flux analysis and prepare flux decks for leadership.
• Own quarter-end deliverables, including footnote disclosures, flux commentary and presentations to
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors.

🎯 Requirements

• Have strong ASC 606 knowledge, especially principal-vs-agent, variable consideration, consideration
• Have owned a month-end close with tight deadlines and reviewed journal entries, reconciliations and
• Have built revenue reporting from large, imperfect third-party data sets and reconciled it to the
• Have managed external partner relationships where you depended on their data, and pushed for fixes.
• Have strong SQL skills (BigQuery or similar) and experience automating close workbooks or
• Have designed or operated SOX controls and supported external audits.
