4PL Area Manager

📋 Description

• Be Flexport’s primary POC for 3PL/4PL partners; visit sites to inspect ops and enforce SLAs.
• Coach 30–100 partner-site teams; enforce policies, SOPs, and drive corrective action.
• Own performance reporting; serve as escalation point for ops issues and cross-functional troubleshooting.
• Forecast SNOP with partners; verify labor plans align to demand and surface risks.
• Ensure partners follow SOPs, use WMS correctly, and meet safety standards.
• Review/approve 3PL/4PL invoices; resolve discrepancies with partners.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years managing a team of 5+ in fulfillment/warehouse/3PL.
• Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally.
• Proven ability to hold external partners accountable without direct authority.
• Strong communication; you are Flexport’s voice to partners.
• Experience building structure/process in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and prioritization; proficient in Google Sheets/Excel.
