5G/LTE Network Engineer I

📋 Description

• Deploy, configure, and commission LTE eNodeBs with MME/SGW/PGW and 5G NR core.
• Perform end-to-end system integration and testing across S1, X2, N1/N2/N3.
• Analyze protocol traces (S1AP/NGAP/X2AP/E2AP/GTP-U/DIAMETER/SCTP) to diagnose issues.
• Monitor and troubleshoot RAN/core KPIs; own root-cause analysis when degraded.
• Develop Python and Bash scripts to automate data collection and reporting.
• Stay current on 3GPP specs, GSMA guidelines, and evolving 5G standards.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Telecom, EE, or Computer Networks; recent grad or up to 1 year
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Theoretical LTE/5G RAN and core network architecture knowledge
• Comfortable with Linux command line
• Basic scripting in Python or Bash
• Ability to read and interpret packet captures
