Account Director, Design & Technology

📋 Description

• Build and strengthen relationships with Kickstarter creators to drive engagement.
• Track creator interactions using Kickstarter’s CRM and ensure SLA adherence.
• Own relationships with top-tier creators; communicate and support launches.
• Develop category-specific educational resources; share insights; be the face of the category.
• Establish partnerships with institutions and partners to grow referral pipelines.
• Contribute to event strategy; represent Kickstarter at industry events.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Design & Technology with a strong network.
• Deep knowledge of Design & Technology and fit for Kickstarter projects.
• Proven ability to collaborate and execute data-driven strategic plans.
• Exceptional communication skills: speak to groups, engage press, represent Kickstarter.
• Strong judgment of category-focused projects; assess quality and clarity of campaigns.
• Bonus: you are a creator in your category, entrepreneur, or a Kickstarter creator.
