Account Operations Specialist - Drayage/Intermodal

📋 Description

• Support Account Managers in servicing assigned customer accounts, including drayage, intermodal
• Build and maintain relationships with primary and secondary carriers, drayage providers, intermodal
• Evaluate and select carriers based on performance, cost, equipment availability, safety, insurance
• Analyze carrier performance, service trends, shipment activity, and operational issues to identify
• Negotiate carrier rates in both spot-market and contract environments
• Schedule, dispatch, monitor, and track freight loads to ensure on-time pickup, transit, delivery

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Operations, or related
• One (1) or more years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics, transportation, drayage
• Experience supporting customer accounts, freight operations, carrier coordination, shipment
• Experience with drayage operations, port transportation, rail transportation, container logistics
• Knowledge of transportation pricing, carrier rates, accessorial fees, billing, claims, or supply
