Accountant

📋 Description

• Manages day-to-day accounting and financial functions ensuring accounting practices and procedures
• Ensures daily compliance at the field level with Winrock’s financial and accounting policies and
• Maintains and strengthens financial systems (i.e., internal controls) across project offices in
• Ensure preparation of monthly financial reports submissions, monthly wires, bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly payroll in compliance with labor and tax laws in country and other Winrock’s
• Ensure accurate encoding of financial transactions in QuickBooks accounting system and comply with

🎯 Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience leading financial, accounting, and/or grants of donor-funded
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent university degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration
• Excellent computer software skills in QuickBooks, MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Familiar with coordinating with governmental offices to ensure the organization’s operations comply
• Ability to always demonstrate the highest level of ethical standards.
• Strong analytical skills and able to multi-task and complete priorities while ensuring quality
