Accountant, General Ledger Accounting

📋 Description

• Manage general ledger activities: journal entries, accruals, and intercompany allocations.
• Record prepaid expenses, establish amortization schedules, and perform reconciliations.
• Prepare, analyze, and maintain balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Perform variance analysis, investigate discrepancies, and recommend solutions.
• Apply GAAP principles for revenue recognition, accruals, amortization, and intercompany transactions.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in general ledger accounting, corporate accounting, or similar finance role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience supporting corporate month-end close processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
• Proficiency with Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and financial analysis functions.
