Accountant - GL Accounting

📋 Description

• Maintain the general ledger and tie-out to sub-ledgers monthly
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts for month-end close
• Analyze and research account balances for accuracy
• Compile and review trial balances and financial statements
• Perform full-cycle purchase card reconciliations and fleet invoicing reviews
• Manage commissions process for internal and external sales reps

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook
• Expert Excel skills with complex spreadsheets
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Excellent oral and written communication with upper management
• Ability to work independently with limited instruction
