Accountant - Hybrid Denver Metro

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of day-to-day accounting; ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Record daily transactions; prepare journal entries (accruals, prepaids, depreciation)
• Reconcile GL, bank, and credit card accounts; timely month-end close
• Process AP/AR and approve vendor payments per terms
• Assist payroll processing and ensure accuracy of compensation deductions
• Support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and leadership reporting

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and 4+ years in AEC
• Strong accrual-based accounting, GAAP, and financial reporting
• Month-end close experience with journal entries, accruals, prepaids, depreciation
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and manage GL independently
• Self-directed and accountable; strong Excel; ability to learn new systems
• ERP familiarity; Ajera or Unanet a bonus
