Accountant (m/f/d)

📋 Description

• Manage day-to-day accounting for German entities, ensuring accurate financial records.
• Support month-end/year-end closing, journal entries, and adjustments.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and review account balances.
• Follow up on vendor invoices, prepare accruals, contribute to P&L reviews.
• Process supplier payments and bank transfers per internal procedures.
• Prepare German VAT filings and support payroll tax declarations.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years accounting experience with German HGB and tax requirements.
• Software, technology, or SaaS industry experience.
• Solid understanding of accrual accounting, reconciliations, and closing procedures.
• Practical knowledge of German VAT and payroll tax declarations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
