📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of accountants and accounting professionals, providing technical
• Allocate tasks, monitor workloads, manage competing priorities, and ensure accounting deliverables
• Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, accounting reports, reconciliations
• Review individual, company, trust, and other business tax returns, oversee Business Activity

🎯 Requirements

• At least five years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within an Australian public
• Previous experience supervising, mentoring, or leading an accounting team, with demonstrated
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting principles, taxation legislation, and regulatory
• Proven experience preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, BAS, and other
• Solid understanding of GST, income tax, business taxation, and general accounting and compliance
• Experience using accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or comparable platforms.
