Accounting Director - Mexico

📋 Description

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with trends.
• Ensure Local GAAP/IFRS compliance and local tax/regulatory filings.
• Manage general ledger accuracy and reconciliation processes.
• Oversee local tax filings, audits, and statutory reporting.
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Prepare and post journal entries in Netsuite.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
• CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with Mexican GAAP and IFRS
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
